How do I enroll in Duo two-factor authentication (2FA)?
Article: KB0012649 Published: 01/22/2024 Last modified: 04/09/2024

Duo two-factor authentication (2FA) is intended to protect you and your personal information better. With Duo 2FA, you must confirm your identity with a device you've previously registered to gain access using the service provider Duo. This additional security measure significantly reduces the risk and potential impact of compromised accounts and better protects the entire Northeastern community. Visit Northeastern's Get 2FA page for more information on 2FA, its benefits, and who is required to use it.

Note: It is highly recommended that you register at least two devices. Please read the article How do I manage my Duo account and trusted devices? for more information about registering multiple devices.
