How to: Access HuskyMail via IMAP/POP using mail client or moblie device

Enable your IMAP/POP service in HuskyMail account, change your HuskyMail (not myNEU) password and follow the instruction in Gmail Help article.


To set up your HuskyMail on mail client or mobile device:

    Enable IMAP/POP service on your HuskyMail account by signing into HuskyMail via myNEU, click Settings in the top right corner, amd go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

    To enable POP, select Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on,choose the desired action for messages that are accessed with POP, and click Save Changes.

    To enable IMAP, select Enable IMAP, click Save Changes, and Change or Reset your HuskyMail (not myNEU) password.

    To access HuskyMail through IMAP go to Supported IMAP client list or for POP go to Supported POP client list. Select your client or device from the list and follow the instructions.

    NOTE: Your account may get locked if you made multiple incorrect IMAP/POP login attempts. You first need to unlock your account and then proceed as instructed.

    TIP: All IMAP/POP servers are blocked on the NUwave-guest wireless network. Access secured wireless network to unblock.
