How to: Establish, change or reset your Google password to access HuskyMail

Your myNEU username and password will allow you to log into the G-apps services within a web browser. To access your account through other means, such as through IMAP, POP, or SMTP servers; mobile services; or other features such as Google Calendar Sync, you will need to establish your Google Password. Your Google Password is stored by Google and not on Northeastern's servers.

TIP: It is not necessary for you to know your old Google password to set a new one, as you have already logged into myNEU with the necessary credentials.

From within HuskyMail:

Click on the gear in the upper right corner.

Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

Go to the Accounts tab and select Google Account Settings.

From the security menu on the left click Change Password.

NOTE: For security purposes, your Google Password cannot be the same as your myNEU password.

Visit the ResNet website, Changing Your HuskyMail Password, for more information.
