Faculty and staff whose departments and colleges have software needs should contact IT Services to assist with the purchase, licensing, and distribution of discipline-specific software. 

ITS’s Software Licensing will negotiate, procure, and manage the software licenses and will try to identify other departments with the same need to share the purchase cost.

A request can be submitted for IT Services to distribute department-owned software or provide lab use for 25 or more computers.

Before submitting requests for software, review the list of software available through Northeastern and Northeastern’s software policy to learn more about software installation and to prevent any licensing or integration issues.
